Connecticut’s Lethality Assessment Program

Learn more about CCADV's Lethality Assessment Program (LAP), a specialized risk assessment tool utilized by police during incidents of intimate partner violence to determine the victim’s risk of escalation to serious injury or fatal violence. This video provides a basic overview of the history and goal of LAP, along with reviewing the procedures for conducing a LAP screen.
